PartyΒ Trays,Β PackedΒ HotΒ forΒ Pickup

Sometimes you don't need a caterer β€” you need a trunk full of shawarma. Our pickup party trays are the family-size answer: half and full trays packed hot at the shop on East Colorado, ready when you pull up, with same-day turnaround on the smaller sizes.

How the Trays Work

Two sizes, simple math. A half tray feeds 8 to 10 people; a full tray feeds 16 to 20. Chicken shawarma runs $75 for a half and $140 for a full. Beef is $90 and $170. Falafel β€” fried fresh, and the half tray disappears faster than people expect β€” is $55 and $100. Round it out with hummus by the quart at $14 and our house toum garlic sauce by the pint at $10, because a tray of shawarma without enough toum is a planning error you only make once.

Every tray comes packed hot with lids, and we'll throw in warm pita and pickles to match your order. All meat is carved fresh off the spit the day you pick up β€” we don't pre-pack trays and let them sit.

Ordering and Pickup

Call (747) 377-0707 or email yummy.patar@gmail.com with what you want and when you're coming. Half trays and single-tray orders can usually be handled same-day β€” the spits are turning from 11 AM to 2 AM, so an afternoon call for an evening pickup is normal business. Full trays and multi-tray orders are safer with a day's notice so we can carve against your order instead of the walk-in line.

Pickup is at the shop: 625 E Colorado St, Glendale. Tell us your pickup time and the trays come off the line as close to it as we can manage, so you're driving away with food at its peak. Pro tip from people who've done this a lot: trays ride flat, so clear the trunk or the back seat floor before you come.

Reheating, If It Comes to That

Best case, the trays go from our counter to your table inside an hour and reheating never comes up. But if the party's later or there are leftovers β€” a good problem β€” here's how to do it right. Oven: 350 degrees, tray uncovered for the last few minutes so the meat's edges crisp back up, about 10 to 15 minutes total. Stovetop works even better for small batches: a hot dry pan, a few minutes, done. The microwave is the option of last resort β€” it'll warm the meat but you lose the crisp edges that make shawarma shawarma.

Keep the toum, hummus, and pickles cold and add them after reheating, never before. Pita revives in 30 seconds over a flame or in a hot pan. Done right, a reheated tray is honestly about ninety percent of the original β€” which is still better than most food on its best day.

Questions, answered

Can I get a tray same-day?+

Usually, yes β€” half trays and single-tray orders can often be ready same-day since our spits turn from 11 AM to 2 AM. Full trays and multi-tray orders are safer with a day's notice. Call (747) 377-0707 and we'll confirm on the spot.

How many people does each tray feed?+

Half trays feed 8 to 10, full trays feed 16 to 20. If your crowd skews hungry or the tray is the main event, size up β€” leftovers reheat well.

Do trays come with pita and sauce?+

Warm pita and pickles come matched to your order. Toum garlic sauce is $10 a pint and hummus is $14 a quart β€” most hosts grab at least one pint of toum per half tray, and they're right to.

What's the best way to reheat a tray?+

Oven at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes, uncovered at the end so the edges crisp, or a hot dry pan for small batches. Skip the microwave if you can, keep sauces cold and add them after, and revive pita over a flame for 30 seconds.
