Backyard parties run on their own clock — people show up late, stay long, and eat in waves. Our trays are built for exactly that: shawarma that holds its heat, sides that don't wilt, and enough food that the cousins who arrive at hour three still eat like they came first.
Party Food That Forgives the Party
A graduation party is not a seated dinner. The food gets set out, the eating happens in three or four waves, and somebody's uncle goes back for a fourth plate at dusk. We pack for that reality. Meat comes off the spit hot into insulated foil trays with lids and stands, sauces are portioned separately so nothing goes soggy, pita is wrapped to stay soft, and the whole spread is designed to sit on a table for a couple of hours and still eat like it just arrived.
The menu is the crowd-pleaser lineup: chicken and beef shawarma, falafel for the vegetarians, hummus, salad, rice, pickles, fries, warm pita, and our house toum — which, fair warning, will be the thing people text you about the next day. Every tray is clearly labeled, so the whole guest list eats from the same table without anyone needing to ask.
Headcounts That Refuse to Sit Still
Every party host knows the RSVP math never survives contact with the actual day. Twenty confirmed becomes thirty-five when word gets out there's shawarma. So we build flexibility in: book against your best estimate, then adjust up or down until a day or two before. Our packages scale smoothly — The Block Party covers 10 to 20 guests at $14 a person, The Full Spread takes 20 to 50 at $17 — and we'll honestly tell you whether to round up or trust your number.
Our quiet rule for backyard parties: order for the high end of your guess. Leftover shawarma is not a problem anyone has ever complained about, and it reheats beautifully the next day. If the budget is tight, tell us — we'd rather trim the menu smartly with you than have you quietly under-order and run out when the second wave of guests hits the table.

Graduations have a way of becoming parties on 48 hours' notice, and birthdays sneak up on the best of us. Because we're a working shop with spits turning every day from 11 AM to 2 AM, we can often handle short-notice orders that dedicated catering kitchens can't touch. Standard trays on 24 hours' notice are usually doable; even same-day is worth a phone call if the party headcount is reasonable.
